                                                               In October, our Central Texas Aggregates District held its
                                                               14th annual Martin Marietta Charity Golf Tournament in
                                                               San Antonio, an event that raised more than $115,000 in
                                                               donations — the largest amount yet.

                                                               The San Antonio Food Bank was the primary recipient of
                                                               the tournament’s proceeds. Other recipients included such
                                                               local charities as the Family Life Center, the Serve Outdoors
                                                               organization and Steps for Life.
                                                               “It feels good,” noted Hunter Stone Office Manager Lisa
                                                               Rogers, who organizes the event. “When you actually give
                                                               the organizations the money, you see how appreciative
                                                               they are and it’s incredible. They’re just so grateful.”
